VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT
We are excited to announce that Philip Goad will be coming back to the University as the Vice President of Administration. Philip has a BS in Accounting from Lipscomb University as well as a BA and MMin from Heritage Christian University. He first started working with HCU in 1997. He has previously served as Controller and as Vice President of Advancement. He also served as co-president for a year in the interim before Dr. Kirk Brothers arrived and was on the Administrative Council for many years. Since then, he has continued part-time as Director of Alumni Relations at HCU.
Philip preached at North Highlands in Russellville, AL, since 2020. He has been married to Marla for 36 years and is blessed with two children, Kayla (who is married to Josh) and Preston, as well as two grandchildren, Greyson and Charlotte.
Philip began work in this new role the first of October. He believes in HCU through and through, and we are excited to have him back on campus on a regular basis.
