Florence, AL — Heritage Christian University (HCU) is proud to announce that its Graduate School of Theology has received accreditation from the Association of Theol (ATS), a significant milestone in the institution’s mission to provide quality, faith-driven graduate programs.

The ATS Commission on Accrediting approved the accreditation following an extensive evaluation process, affirming that HCU’s Graduate School of Theology meets the highest standards in theological education. Accreditation by ATS allows HCU students to benefit from increased academic and professional opportunities and applies to HCU’s Master of Arts in Christian Scripture, Master of Ministry, and Master of Divinity programs.

“As ATS is committed to helping theological schools improve, the accreditation they provide will assist our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and integrity of our programs as we search for creative avenues to participate in God’s mission for the benefit of our students, churches, faculty, staff, and all those we serve,” states Dr. Nathan Daily, HCU Vice President of Academic Affairs.

The university remains committed to fostering a strong Christian community and equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in ministry and beyond.

HCU President Dr. Kirk Brothers states:“This is a landmark moment for our institution. Years from now, we will look back and remember that we were there when the Heritage Christian University Graduate School of Theology received ATS accreditation. It makes us a better school, it assists our students in transferring credits to other schools as they continue their training for ministry, and it confirms the quality of our degrees. God did this! To Him be the glory!”
