The Alabama Association of Historians Annual Meeting is February 28-29 at the University of North Alabama. The conference is jointly sponsored by UNA and the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area. All sessions are free and open to the public. HCU history professor Brad McKinnon will be chairing a session titled A Most Excellent Theophilus: The Life and Legacy of Mars Hill’s T.B. Larimore on Saturday, February 29 at 1:15pm. The session features presentations by John Young, author of Visions of Restoration: The History of Churches of Christ (Cypress Publications, 2019), Nathan Guy, President of Mars Hill Bible School/HCU adjunct instructor, and independent scholar Chris Cotten.
