We are glad that President Brothers has the opportunity to attend ABHE’s Presidents Conference in Florida next week. He will be there from October 21 to 23. President Brothers, Robert Youngblood, and J.T. Harrison will all be attending the Advancement Conference at the beginning of the week.

Hats off to Travis Harmon for transportation of 2,000 lbs of chicken fingers to the gulf! Alumnus Ray Reynolds distributed it. Thank you Travis for always helping others!

Thanks to an ongoing gift of papers and memorabilia from the family of the late President Charles Coil and First Lady Maye Coil. Work toward the creation of The Charles and Maye Coil Archive has begun within the Overton Memorial Library. It’s taking shape in a most encouraging way.

The Kilpatrick Restoration Chapel now includes sermons, letters, and notes from many beloved preachers including George W. Bailey, Batsell Barrett Baxter, H. Leo Boles, BC Goodpasture, Ira North, and Charles Scott.

The Marshall Keeble display area within Jael’s Tent has been expanded.

The Hall of Honor upstairs in OML has been updated to include photos of Senior VP Pat Moon and vice presidents Michael Jackson, Robert Youngblood, and Travis Harmon.

We greatly appreciate a major donation of books from alumnus Gary Payne and the North Broad Street Church of Christ in Albertville. We thank Ellen Payne, alumnus Tom Scott and former student Jesse Winn for helping deliver the books to campus.

Dr. Steve Williams continues to donate generously to OML from his collection. We appreciate his kindness in strengthening our holdings.
