Extending forgiveness should be easy, right? Yet, as Christians—even those in ministry—we often struggle with it. The commands are clear, but the practice? Not always.⁠ We have the perfect example in Jesus Christ, yet “from the heart” forgiveness (Mt. 18:35) can still be challenging when we’ve been hurt. How do we balance forgiveness, restoration, accountability, and boundaries? And as ministers, how do we practice AND preach this discipline in a way that honors God?⁠Let’s explore this together at HCU/IBC Alumni Day.
