Friends of Overton Memorial Library present the 9th Annual Charles R. Coil Colloquium with Luke Timothy Johnson, Ph.D. on “Apostle Paul: Oppressor or Liberator?” on April 20. There will be two different lectures presented on the topic, 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Dr. Johnson is an American New Testament scholar and historian of early Christianity. He is the Robert W. Woodruff Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at Candler School of Theology and a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University.
