Into the Arena

A famous speech by Theodore Roosevelt stated, “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood…” We are in a cross-section of culture and Christianity in which there is spiritual renewal but overtones of Christian nationalism.  How do we navigate the current climate of ministry?

James 1:12 states, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
