We are excited to announce the promotion of J.T. Harrison to the position of Vice President of Advancement. J.T. joined HCU in July 2020 and has served as Associate Vice President of Advancement since January 2021. He has an associate degree from HCU and has completed additional coursework at Faulkner University and Amridge University. J.T. served for many years as a preacher. He also held the position of Director of Annual Gifts and Church Relations for one of our sister schools, was a sales manager for an investment company, and has a real estate broker’s license. He owned a real estate company and has managed as many as thirty agents and support staff.
J.T. states, “My vision and commitment to fundraising go back to the original purpose when Heritage Christian University was founded fifty-five years ago: To help evangelize the world and always maintain a commitment to sound doctrine. The motivation for our fundraising efforts rests on the belief that donors are investing in our students, who will, in turn, be able to reach souls for Christ in the years to come. Donors, whether individuals or churches, are our partners in accomplishing this task.”
