We know how overwhelming debt burden can be, especially starting out on your journey in ministry. That’s why HCU has partnered with individuals and congregations throughout churches of Christ to create the Legacy Scholarship program. You’ll receive the best in academic and practical biblical training, with the ability to go wherever He leads you afterward, including small churches and the mission field. If you’re ready to take the first step into ministry, there’s never been a better time.
The Legacy Scholarship* program is for new, full-time** on campus students who have been accepted to the Associate of Arts or Bachelor of Arts program. Legacy Scholarship covers the remaining cost of tuition, after the student’s Pell Grant is applied. Scholarship recipients must file the FAFSA. Students eligible for the Federal Pell Grant must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. Additional requirements include maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00, and complete at least 15 hours per semester of HCU service components. (Excludes the HCU Campaign Scholarship).
