Spouse of Full-time Degree Seeking HCU Student or the Spouse of a Full-time Preacher* Scholarship

For the spouse of a full-time degree-seeking HCU student or the spouse of a full-time preacher. Student is awarded a one-half off tuition scholarship. The scholarship may continue for one year after his or her spouse graduates. (Excludes all other scholarships on this form).

Dependent children of full-time preacher*, Christian School Administrator*or Faculty member* Scholarship

For dependent children of a full-time preacher, Christian school administrator, or faculty member. Student is awarded a one-half off tuition scholarship for four consecutive years of enrollment. (Excludes all other scholarships on this form).

Lads to Leaders Scholarship *** (No more than two years from high school graduation)

For participants in the Lads to Leaders program. Student is awarded scholarship based on a résumé of participation and accomplishments submitted to the HCU Scholarship Committee. Student must maintain a term GPA of at least 3.00 to maintain eligibility each semester. Student may receive this award for up to four consecutive years of enrollment. L2L Scholarships are subject to university policies and guidelines. An award of a one-half off tuition will exclude all other scholarships on this form.

High School Honors Scholarship *** (No more than two years from high school graduation)

For high school Valedictorian or Salutatorian who enroll for at least 12 credit hours.** Student is awarded a one-half off tuition scholarship. Student must maintain a term GPA of at least 3.00 to maintain eligibility each semester. Student may receive this award for up to four consecutive years of enrollment. An official high school transcript or an official honors award certificate must be submitted for verification. (Excludes all other scholarships on this form).

SGA Officers Scholarship ($200.00) ***

For HCU SGA elected Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasure). Eligibility requires Officer to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50. Officers are not eligible for scholarship if placed on academic probation.

Other Scholarships

In addition to university (HCU) scholarships, a limited amount of donor-funded scholarships is available each year. The scholarships are gift-aid and are primarily based on need and merit (academic achievement). Many include other criteria as established by the university or donor. Students must complete the HCU Scholarship Application prior to the start of school for consideration. Scholarships are awarded by semester as funds become available. Please contact the Offices of Enrollment Services and Financial Aid for application forms or print one from the HCU website.
