Welcome to our newest team members, Jim Collins and Rusty Pettus. Jim will be returning to HCU as Director of Enrollment Services after several years serving the church in Campbellsville, KY. Rusty comes to us from the Graymere Church of Christ in Columbia, Tennessee. He will be working with Enrollment Services as well. Both Jim and Rusty are HCU alumni.
Remember the Restoration Movement class as it travels to historic sites in Kentucky and Tennessee this week. Last Friday they toured several local sites including the Old Mars Hill church building and the Larimore Home.
Thanks to all who helped make the Annual HCU Golf Tournament a notable success. Philip Goad, Janet Moon, and their team (Ashley, Heather, Alana, Mark, Dennis, Pat, Melanie, Becky, Charlotte, Larry, and Travis) did an excellent job. Alan Watkins, who preaches for the Grant Street Church of Christ in Decatur, was top fundraiser. A record number of teams participated and alumni participation was encouraging. May 17, 2013 has been chosen for the next tournament.
Heritage Home School graduation on May 17 was precious. Each student’s mom shared sweet sentiments. Arvy and Debbie Dupuy did a great job with the program.

Thought for the week: We enjoyed seeing the President’s List and the Dean’s list for Spring 2012. It’s always a joy to see students excel. It reminds us of the happy side of Romans 12:15, “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.” We know that life is more than A averages, but we highly respect the work behind such grades. There’s much to say for an attitude of excellence (Colossians 3:23-24, Titus 3:8 and 14).
