HCU Announces Tuition Freeze
Heritage Christian University President Dennis Jones announced today that tuition rates will not increase for the 2012-2013 academic year. The tuition freeze is part of a campus-wide initiative to increase the number of people going into ministry. “We’re doing all we can to make a biblical studies degree both desirable and attainable,” said Jones.
Current cost per undergraduate credit hour is $373, and current cost per graduate credit hour is $209. Most students at HCU also qualify for scholarship assistance. The university, founded in 1971, offers the AA and BA in Biblical studies, the Master of Ministry, the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, and the Master of Divinity. Graduates currently serve in 38 states and in 21 nations in the fields of children’s home supervision, counseling, chaplaincy, education, preaching, missions, and youth ministry.
