To graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Bible from the Distance Learning Program a student must:
1. Complete 128
semester hours acceptable to the College including the following:
2. 44 hours in Bible and Doctrine
3. 36 hours in general education which includes the
following requirements:
4. English Composition (6 hours)
5. Humanities or Fine Arts (6 hours) includes courses
in literature, western civilization, art, drama, music,
and general humanities.
6. Natural Sciences and/or Mathematics (6 hours)
includes courses in biology, physics, chemistry, environmental
science, astronomy, geology, finite mathematics, college
algebra, calculus, and other similar courses.
7. Social and Behavioral Sciences (9 hours) includes
courses in psychology, political science, economics, sociology,
anthropology, and history.
8. General Education Electives (9 hours) includes
all general education courses listed above and, in addition,
courses in speech, critical thinking, philosophy, ethics,
physical education, and orientation.
9. 28 hours in Professional Studies.
10. 20 hours in General Electives.
11. Achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 or better
on all course work. 12 hours completed in residence.
July 8, 2007 8:05 PM,
a Junior English Proficiency Test, and the Spiritual Awareness
Inventory.
13. Complete at least 32 hours at Heritage Christian
University. Of the 32 hours, 15 hours must be in the area
of Bible and Doctrine.
14. Fulfill the Christian Service requirement of
8 units.
15. Satisfy all financial obligations to the University
and be in good academic standing with the University.
16. Submit a Declaration of Intent to Graduate form
the semester prior to the last semester before graduation,
accompanied by the non-refundable $50 Graduation Fee.
17. Participate in graduation exercises unless waived
by the Director of Distance Learning.
