Heritage Christian University deeply desires to build and maintain strong relationships with those who have a passion for preparing the Lord’s workers for real-world ministry. Through the years, over 11,500 individuals and over 1,100 congregations have supported the Lord’s work at HCU. Partnered with these individual donors and supporting congregations, Heritage Christian has helped to provide 652 graduates who continue in the Lord’s work year after year. In 2008 alone, students, staff, and faculty reported over 200 baptisms and 340 restorations. Evangelism is why we exist, and evangelism is why we ask for your support.

"Make an investment that produces a return for years and years to come."

Heritage Christian University began in 1971 with the goal of saving lost souls and training others to do the same. Even with the financial challenges created by such a focused mission, we have been true to that mission since our inception. To date, the staff, faculty, and students of HCU have reported over 13,000 baptisms since the university’s beginning, and that number does not take into account the work done by those who have graduated from the program and continue to labor in ministry!

In order to make a Bible degree financially feasible to potential students, HCU does not charge enough tuition to fully support the university. President Jones often points out that HCU is a donation driven school, not a tuition driven school. For our ongoing success, we depend on you. When we talk to friends about supporting the Lord’s work at Heritage Christian University, we often talk about making an “investment” that produces a return for years and years to come.

I often like to say that the real excitement begins when a student graduates and begins a career of real-world ministry. For the congregations and individuals who invested in the training of students, the success stories are written year after year as those graduates continue to preach, teach, and evangelize. We will never (in this life) know the full impact for good made by the investment in those who have studied at HCU.

We are thankful for every friend of HCU, and we are deeply grateful for every gift received. We know that without you, this good work could not continue. “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Matt. 9:38)
