In addition to teaching EG090, which prepares HCU students for Composition A and B, Dr. Bagents is an English teacher at Florence Middle School. Her areas of academic interest include revision skills, reading strategies, and improving student engagement. Dr. Bagents teaches a children’s Bible class at her local congregation and has spoken on ladies’ day programs in Alabama and Tennessee. She has accompanied her husband, Bill, on mission trips to South Africa and Namibia (2009) and Albania (1996). The Bagentses have two adult sons.
