Cory Collins has focused his studies and efforts on missions, ministry, biblical languages, and theology. In the early 1980s he taught English using the Bible in the World Trade Center in New York, as part of a church-sponsored outreach to internationals from twenty-five nations. He and his wife, Tanya, then worked with a congregation in greater Philadelphia. While there he received his master’s degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and taught college-level Bible courses at Northeastern Christian Junior College in Villanova. The Collinses have two children, Christopher and Charissa.As Dean of Students at HCU, Cory Collins directs Orientation courses for new and transferring students. In addition he teaches courses in New Testament and Theology. For several years he was the chairman of the President’s Council. In addition he serves on the Board of Directors of Mars Hill Bible School. He currently serves as a minister for the Mars Hill church of Christ and a regular speaker on “Televisit with the Bible.”
