Eli Gold, best known as the 30-year voice of the Alabama Crimson Tide, spent over 40 years as a radio voice for Nascar. He is a member of the 2014 class of the Alabama Sports Hall Of Fame and 2016 class of the University Of Alabama Hall Of Fame. Congrats to our friend and now guest lecturer, Debbie Dupuy, for her book release, It's a Red Letter Day! Debbie will be on campus next Tuesday, September 5 from 4:00 - 6:30 pm for a book signing in the Overton Memorial Library. Starting September 7, Debbie will be teaching from the book for a 12-week ladies' class. The class will be held on campus Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Cost is free.   To register for the class , click here.

This month's Preachers' Lunch is nearly here! HCU will host the monthly area preachers luncheon in the university conference room on Wednesday, September 20th, at 11:30 a.m.  As always, the luncheon is open to all church workers and is free of charge. Lilvois Necklace Gala

Liberte Ministries is hosting Lilivois Necklace Gala (for ladies only) as a fundraiser for orphan care in Haiti on October 17 in the HCU auditorium. Cost is $30. Every lady leaves with a necklace.
